Before you arrive
Due to construction, during the weekend of this performance, Harney Street from 17th to 16th will be closed.
There will be a detour route clearly defined taking traffic to Jackson Street, where cars can then turn onto 16th Street.
We apologize about this inconvenience, but this should only delay audience members a minute or two from arriving at the Orpheum.
Please plan additional time for your arrival accordingly.
Recent change in OPPD parking garage
The OPPD Energy Plaza Garage will only accept payment through the ParkMobile app or with credit card and will no longer accept cash.
The ParkMobile app allows you to reserve your parking session in advance. If you plan to park there, arrive early, and have your digital parking permit ready to scan upon entry.
Multiple surface and garage parking options are offered all within two blocks of the Orpheum Theater and additional parking is available at the OPPD Energy Plaza on Howard Street between 16th and 17th Streets. For patrons parking at OPPD, exit the OPPD Energy Plaza garage through the Orpheum Skylink and walk directly into the Orpheum Theater third floor lobby.

Guide to the Opera
Is this your first time attending an opera? If you're new to a certain performance, or just want to come prepared, it's great to read a synopsis or attend the pre-performance lecture prior to the show. Also, we don't expect you to learn a new language for the performance. All performances will have English supertitles projected above the stage so you can follow along. Click here for a helpful information about the opera experience including suggestions on what to wear, when to arrive and about the orchestra.
In what language will Don Pasquale be presented?
The opera will be sung in Italian, the original language in which it was written. English supertitles will be available on a screen above the stage and in the front of the Loge.
Are there lighting or sound elements I should be aware of?
There will be theatrical lighting elements for this performance. The singers do not use microphones, just their natural voices projecting from the stage.
