Calling all young artists and creators!
Opera Omaha, Wicked Raven Productions, and Joslyn Castle & Gardens invite artists 18 and younger to join a special youth art show celebrating the enchanting bond between humanity and the natural world inspired by Opera Omaha’s new production of Fantastic Mr. Fox. This is your moment to let your imagination bloom and share your unique vision with the community!

Dive into the magic of nature for inspiration! Explore the quiet strength of towering trees, the playful dance of woodland creatures, or the loyal companionship of animals that stir your heart. Capture the whimsy of a forest bathed in golden light, the mystery of a creature’s gaze, or the harmony of living alongside the wild. Whether it’s the rustle of leaves, the chatter of a squirrel, or the fleeting grace of a deer, let these themes spark stories and scenes that reflect your personal connection to nature’s beauty and wonder.

Who: Artists 18 and younger (up to seniors in high school)
Entry Fee: None—completely FREE!
Sales: Artwork can be for sale. Artist keeps 100% of proceeds (no commission taken)
Submissions: up to 2 pieces per artist.
All artwork must be ready to hang/display
All mediums are welcome—paint, draw, sculpt, or craft your way into this celebration of youth and nature!
