Join Hal France and the UNO CFAM Creative Forum Series on March 23 for a preview of Opera Omaha's production of Fidelio.  Hal welcomes principal guest artists Sara Gartland (Marzelline) and Chad Johnson  (Jaquino) with accompanist, Eric Andries to speak about their roles in Beethoven's only opera AND the final in the operatic triptych designed by Jun Kaneko.  Click here to read more.

Director James Darrah spoke with KMTV's Morning Blend about Opera Omaha's new production and Nebraska premiere of John Adams' contemporary opera "A Flowering Tree." James talked about the challenge of bringing intimacy to life on stage in this romantic folktale and other productions. James and his creative team, Chromatic, also brought Agrippina to our stage last season. Watch the interview here.

The encore of the Met's new production of Tchaikovsky's Iolanta and Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle takes place on February 18, 2015, 5:30 pm CST. On March 14, at 11:55am, the Met will broadcast its premiere of Rossini's La Donna del Lago with Joyce DiDonato and Juan Diego Flores. For more information, click here.
