Reflections on the work and daily wonders of the Holland Community Opera Fellowship

Another season of the Holland Community Opera Fellowship has begun, and there is joy and a sprinkle of creativity in the air!
This year, we welcomed back three returning Fellows for their second season (Tobias J. Garcia, Chloe Janae Gormley, and Abz Cameron) and welcomed one new Fellow (Alice Franssen) to the team. It is always a magical time as we begin the Fellowship adventure together, build relationships, and prepare to serve the community by visiting with and learning from our wonderful community partners. We are thrilled to continue working with a dozen unique partners, who are each doing meaningful work and making our community a better place. A few highlights from the first few weeks of Fellowship include: Touring the bright and lively childcare center at MICAH House, talking with residents at QLI about their artistic interests and celebrating the original film they debuted this summer, and serving lunch to the seniors at Intercultural Senior Center. Check out our amazing lunch-lady outfits! We are excited to take this fun energy into all we do this season!
