OVERVIEW

Opera Omaha kicks off its 2019-2020 season with the seventh annual Opera Outdoors, a fun, family-friendly and FREE opera concert in Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park. featuring a sampling opera’s greatest hits and previews of Opera Omaha’s upcoming season. The concert is open to the public; no tickets are necessary, and this year’s event will be hosted in English and Spanish for the second year.

ABOUT THE CONCERT

Performances by Opera Omaha’s Holland Community Opera Fellows, Gwenna Fairchild-Taylor, Jared Hiscock, Kate Pomrenke and Kaitlin Zardetto, as well as special guests Tenor Peter Drackley, Soprano Alexandra LoBianco, Bass Hidenori Inoue and the Opera Omaha Chorus. Additionally, Opera Omaha’s community partners Gotta Be Me, and the Nelson Mandela Elementary Meerkat Melodies Choir will perform.
