After careful consideration, Opera Omaha’s annual outdoor concert, Opera Outdoors, will be presented in a live audio broadcast out of concern for the safety of the community due to increased COVID-19 cases in the area. We invite you to tune in to this special concert from the comfort of your homes, backyards, vehicles or wherever you choose to live stream, in thanks to a special collaboration with Classical 90.7, KVNO.

Opera Omaha’s free live outdoor concerts are part of Opera Omaha’s mission to share opera with the community and wider audiences. They have drawn more than 15,000 people of all ages since 2013. This year’s concert is sponsored by Holland Foundation, Fred and Eve Simon Charitable Foundation, Omaha Steaks, First National Bank and KVNO with support from MECA, Omaha’s Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority.


The opera program will include selections composed by opera greats Puccini, Donizetti, Verdi, Mozart and more. Classical music hosts Coleen Cook and Ben Rasmussen will be anchoring the broadcast for KVNO, which will feature live performances by Opera Omaha’s Holland Community Opera Fellows, Nicholas Davis, Gwenna Fairchild-Taylor, Jared Hiscock, and Kaitlin Zardetto, as well as special guests Soprano Eleni Callenos, Tenor Peter Drackley and Bass David Crawford.
