DONOR PRIVACY POLICY

Opera Omaha, Inc. respects the privacy of its donors and adopted this Donor Privacy Policy to honor your rights. General Collection and Use of Personal Information Opera Omaha, Inc. collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, phone number, and email address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. In addition, Opera Omaha keeps a record of each donor's giving history and ticket buying history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by the Development Department to analyze overall giving patterns in order to make more accurate budget projections. Individual donors of an annual gift of $100 or more may be recognized in publications like our season program books. Donors may notify us if they prefer that all or some of their contributions be made anonymously and not publicly recognized.

Opera Omaha, Inc. will not sell, rent, or otherwise exchange donor lists. At times, Opera Omaha, Inc. shares the names and addresses of its ticket buyers with other nonprofit organizations which may have information of interest for the recipients. Personal account number information and donation history are never disclosed for any purpose.
