The Metropolitan Opera’s Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series The Met: Live in HD will return to Omaha this Fall, with Film Streams and Opera Omaha once again collaborating to present a singular experience for arts lovers.
The fifth season of the groundbreaking Live in HD series is the biggest yet—featuring 12 productions (up from 9 this past season). Four of those productions will be conducted by Music Director James Levine, who will be celebrating his 40th anniversary season at The Met, including the season opener DAS RHEINGOLD on Saturday, October 9.
Each of the 12 productions will be broadcast live and in high-definition at Film Streams’ Ruth Sokolof Theater (1340 Mike Fahey Street), with an entertaining and informative Prelude Talk presented by Opera Omaha starting one hour prior to showtime.
