Choral Collaborative
Opera Omaha and the Omaha Symphony present a collaborative venture with seven area high school choirs, members of the Opera Omaha Chorus, four soloists, and musicians of the Omaha Symphony, under the direction of the Omaha Symphony Resident Conductor, Ernest Richardson. Opera Omaha Resident Music Director J. Gawf and Maestro Richardson work with each school for two weeks of individual and combined choir rehearsals. The collaboration concludes with a final performance where students participate in an unparalleled live performance of a large symphonic choral work and choruses from our favorite operas, including Carmen, Pagliacci and more…
Made possible in part with support from ConAgra’s Art for the Holiday’s Celebration – Food donations in support of the Omaha Food Bank will be accepted at the concert.
